What is the Productivity Places Program? •The Productivity Places Program is a great way to improve your skills so you can find employment. •The Program provides new training places in skills and occupations employers are seeking and is designed to help you secure long term employment. •The Program is part of the Australian Government’s Skilling Australia for the future initiative. What training is available? Training will only be available in industries experiencing skill shortages. College Australia provides training for this program in:
Program dates are listed for classroom paticipation and do not include 80 hours work experience requirement. Distance programs avaliable for all courses and commencement at any time except hospitality which is only run onsite. The Productivity Places Program is only avaliable for job seekers registered with an (ESP) Employment Service Provider (e.g. Mission Aust, Employment Plus, Impact Jobs) Australian citizens or permanent residents over the age of 15 and: Registered with an Employment Services Provider (ESP), or
Job seekers must be referred by their Employment Services Provider. Those not registered with an Employment Services Provider need to contact College Australia directly. What does it cost? How To Apply Step 1 - Confirm eligibility Are you the Job Seeker registered with an Employment Service Provider (e.g. Job Network Member (JNM), Disability Employment Network (DEN) member, Job Placement, Employment and Training (JPET) provider, Personal Support Program (PSP) provider, or Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) provider)? Step 2 - Complete Referral Download the Referral Form to a Registered Training Organisation, then contact our office to arrnage for one of our cosultants to come to your job network office and complete the paperwork with the student at your site so we can get the paperwork completed.
