Government Funding
College Australia offers qualifications through the various delivery and assessment modes:
- To individuals who are seeking a qualification to seek a new career, for promotion or for interest. These students do not receive government funding and are self-funding their course of study. Please refer to the relevant Course Outline
- To existing workers undertaking a formal traineeship in a partnership with the employer, Australia Government and College Australia. Please refer to Traineeship Outline
- To new workers undertaking a formal traineeship in a partnership with the employer, Australia Government and College Australia. Please refer to User Choice Outline.
- To individuals who are seeking a recognition for their work and life experience who are either require a qualification for the job role or wanting to receive a qualification. Please refer to RPLpage.
traineeships
Traineeships and apprenticeships are an excellent opportunity for you to work full-time, part-time or continue studying at high school while undertaking a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
College Australia offers flexible delivery including workplace learning, e-learning, external or a
combination of these to suit you and your employer, and provides you with real life skills that are
transferable.
There are a variety of electives offered, with additional support provided if required. Your dedicated
College Australia Coach will develop a personalised training plan to suit your workplace. All our
trainers and assessors have extensive industry knowledge, a high level of professionalism and a
personal approach.
Government information regarding traineeships
commonwealth traineeships
Available to existing workers these are suited to a range of employees.
user choice traineeships
Traineeships aimed at giving employees the skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen industry.
experience+ training
Available to eligible employers to apply for funding to pay for cost of approved training for a mature
age worker for small business owner or employee aged 50 + years who are supervising an apprentice
or trainee.
skilling solutions queensland
Skilling Solutions Queensland (SSQ) is an innovative program developed by the Queensland
Government to enable candidates to gain a formal qualification or upgrade their existing qualification
which may lead to an increase in wages, promotion or a career change. For students interested in
undertaking RPL, a visit to a SSQ branch will save you money on your interview and assessment.
Participants will only have to pay College Australia $250 for the assessment and the Department of
Education and Training will fund the rest.
